CameroonPostline.com -- SDF National Chairman, John Fru Ndi, has said what was celebrated in Buea recently as Reunification was fraudulently and dishonestly organised by President Biya to be hailed and adored for longevity in power.
Fru Ndi after greeting Fon Tamukom II (Sitting)

He said there was nothing to show that Cameroonians were celebrating any reunification.
"We expected that Ma Foncha could have been flown in from Bamenda, Endeley's children, Muna's family successor; I am not talking of Minister Ama Tutu who sat there as Minister, none of the representatives of these families were called up, but Biya ferried into Buea truckloads of hungry CPDM militants for his event.
I repeat; that was his event," Fru Ndi told The Post.
Hear him again: "In pictures, songs and dance everything was CPDM throughout because there were no pictures of Ahidjo, Jua, Foncha, Mbile, Muna anywhere in Buea, talk less of monuments in their honour as patriots of reunification.
It is a shame that these are people who fought hard for what Biya and his CPDM were enjoying and they were all ignored." Fru Ndi said even in his speech, Biya could have named these patriots. Recounting how he arrived at the grandstand and was humiliated, Fru Ndi said after resisting that the security guards would not scan him, the protocol guys showed him a seat "behind noisy and lousy CERAC women and again I resisted until they gave me a seat where ministers were sitting."

According to Fru Ndi, if there is anything that made him happy in Buea it was the colloquium that has sparked up debate and this to him will enable Cameroonians, especially those of English expression to take off from where the Tripartite Talks that that started in Yaounde with Munzu, Anyangwe who clamoured for a federal system, the SDF stance till date.

He regretted that the talks were stalled by Prof. Joseph Owona who singlehandedly smuggled in a decentralised system. "Our problem in Cameroon is this constitutional crisis which Ahidjo and Biya successively manipulated with all bad faith. Cameroonians should take this advantage and press on constitutional changes before anything happens. I am saying this because what is happening in other African countries like Central African Republic and Equatorial Guinea will soon arrive in Cameroon"

The SDF Chair condemned what he described as Biya's arrogance when he is quoted these days by the Communication Minister for offering a unification gift by releasing former Minister Titus Edzoa and Thierry Atangana. "That was a gift; have they paid the money they embezzled or misdirected into their private accounts? Where then is the reunification gift to Anglophone Cameroonians.
Former Chantier Naval boss Zaccheus Forjindam who was praised by Biya five times for raising that place to anything was the first to receive life jail sentence. He even begged to pay the meagre sum he was accused to have embezzled, but the regime refused. Then, there is the case of former Prime Minister Ephraim Inoni whom he ordered to be detained, could these two not have benefitted from the largess of Biya clemency?" Fru Ndi quipped.
