Job Title: Deployment Process Engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 6+ Months
Primary responsibilities include planning and leading software deployments of mission critical enterprise systems in a multi-tiered worldwide environment. Technologies include but are not limited to:  SAP, Middleware, Business Objects, Business Intelligence, Oracle, and portal technology.  The Deployment Process Engineer will have primary accountability to define, prepare and lead the execution of all deployment-related documents including deployment and rollback plans.  This requires leading and coordinating multiple technical resources.  The Deployment Process Engineer will ensure that all deployments follow established processes to ensure quality, repeatability, efficiency and GMP/SOX compliance so that customers are minimally impacted by software changes in production. Additionally, the lead will coordinate the setup of controlled test environments. The Deployment Process Engineer will be responsible for setting achievable deployment milestones, identifying and communicating scheduling conflicts, and determining alternative solutions to deployment problems through strong strategic relationships with key validation, development and project management stakeholders.
