Position: Enterprise Systems Management Administrator (SCCM)
Duration: Long Term
Location: Dallas, TX(Downtown Dallas Area)
JOB DESCRIPTION
· Implements, administers and maintains a large-scale enterprise systems management infrastructure that provide patch management, electronic software delivery, and hardware and software inventory services for Wintel PCs. Duties include implementing new enterprise systems management technologies and providing necessary maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize production downtime.
· Maintains integrity of the enterprise systems management infrastructure by regularly monitoring system usage, capacity, availability, and performance. Develops and executes procedures for optimizing server capacity and performance, and devises and implements solutions that enhance monitoring capabilities. May perform light programming, usually scripting, to automate manual tasks. Develops and establishes policies and procedures for maintaining and upgrading enterprise systems management infrastructure. Transfers technical knowledge to others.
· Minimizes risk to the business by monitoring for potential hardware and software failures and employing appropriate mitigation. Ensure servers are backed up according to business needs and ensures server data is secure from unauthorized access.
· Work closely with IT operations, and change management function, to coordinate hardware and software changes. Executes and supports scheduled maintenance activities. Coordinates on-site and off-site business continuity activities within scope of responsibilities and develops an optimal recovery plan working with IT operations, and customers, to implement the plan.
· Provides advanced support of enterprise systems management client agents running on Wintel PCs. Researches, troubleshoots, and remediates highly complex issues that are systemic in nature.
Education & experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems is a plus.
· Three-plus years of experience administering a complex enterprise systems management infrastructure in a moderate-to-large sized company (i.e. greater than 10,000 seats)
· Three to five years of experience with the following technologies: Microsoft Active Directory and group policy management, Software/Patch Deployment via Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007, Microsoft Windows Deployment Services (WDS), Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, and Microsoft SQL Server 2008
· Working knowledge of any of the following technologies is a plus: Powershell, Visual Basic Script, SQL Server Reporting Services 2008, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012 , Microsoft System Center Operations Manager, BigFix (for patch management), Microsoft Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
Work hours & conditions:
· 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
· On-call support and overtime as required by work schedules or management.

· This position requires that candidates have US Citizenship.
· This position may be filled at various levels based on candidate’s experience and departmental needs.
