But Femi is right. You're wrong. First, let me state that I hope Femi and Eke will stop this childish war between them. And to be honest, Eke has tried as much to stop it. I hope Femi will reciprocate. 

Now to the issue on hand, please check Official Code of Georgia Annotated (O.C.G.A) 16-6-18. Fornication per that code is a crime in Georgia (where you teach). Albeit it is a misdemeanor and carries a jail sentence of up to 12 months in jail or probation/fine, etc.

Adultery may not be a crime in the civil population but in the military,  one charged and convicted of adultery is subject to summary dismissal from the military.

Dr Femi  Adebayo,

  It is  sad that you  failed to allow reason to prevail. Well, you have  made your choice and I must stop you.   Now you know it  was  not an empty threat. I will advice you  to  speak  to your lawyer and let him see all the abusive, threatening and homophobic emails you have been sending  to me and others since 2012 before you speak to FBI  This is the beginning.

I will hold you accountable for your behaviour. This is a promise not a threat.   I do have any other intention. This is a promise I will keep,  unless your friend Otitigbe's   'songo' kills me before then.  When I finish with you, you may be banned from the Internet if you do get  the right legal  advice. This is the first step towards banning you from the Internet. I hope you think carefully and consider your  response thoroughly, otherwise, your hubris will lead to very disastrous consequences for you and you will have no one to blame but your self.   May be if you grew up in a country where people do not pay police bribe for traffic offence you would have learnt to respect the law and the liberty and autonomy of others.

The next step is to contact your Internet service provider and  they know what to do. I am giving you another 24 hours to do the right thing. If you do not, withdraw your abuses, insults threatens and denigrating comments with apology,  by Tuesday 5 march 2014, I will contact your ISP and you  may  be banned from the Internet.  If you like treat this like another empty threat.

If I contact your ISP,  I will be asking for you to be black listed because of the they way and manner you use the Internet to abuse, insult, denigrate, intimidate and bully and threaten people. Your intolerance and bigotry towards homosexuals would be the icing on the cake. I will do this, unless you come to your rightful mind. You would not be able to use the Internet if I contact your ISP and I will do it unless you apologise and withdraw you abuses.

  May be after it, you will never behave in the way you have behaved towards me in the last two years and you will understand why you should  treat others with respect no matter what you feel and not tell a man he cannot do anything.

Since 2011, Dr Adebayo has carried out a sustained internet, bullying, threats and intimidation by way of series of abusive, insulting and homophobic emails threatening me and falsely claiming  that I am a homosexual in a campaign of calumny. Every attempt to appeal to his decency has failed hence this complaint.

This started after I wrote an online article against the criminalisation of homosexuality in Nigeria  in 2012. He has threatened that my life would be in danger, if I ever visit Nigeria  as he would publish in a Nigerian newspaper that I am a homosexual when he is awre that I am not. He has threatened to punch my face if he sees me.   In a country like Nigeria where there is a hate campaign and witch hunt against homosexual, falsely  calming that  an individaul is a homosexual,  when he is aware that the indivudual is not, would seem to me   reckless, malicious, unacceptable   and out right wicked.
