All institutions (includes Engineering and Management Institutions )run by Politicians make it compulsory for all teachers to campaign for them .(counted for promotion and standard workload.)
That is only reason they run such Institutions and how can we call them as quality education centers.
That is the only reason they (Politicians ) get land and other facilities very promptly through Government Machinery
(the argument is they are doing development of particular caste in society and they are more qualified to know how to make development of sections of society
and use them as vote banks (this is precisely the picture in Maharashtra as well.)
This is the standard formula used by Congress and NCP (exploited to maximum) in Maharashtra (other parties have followed suit ; blindly)
As it is common (standard) it does not get reported in any newspaper (even local newspapers are managed by them and they own newspapers also.)
How can we get good/s Delivered and why people will believe in good things in India (at least). It their destiny and hence you will find dynastic politics (like small kings reporting to Emperors (PM ); as we all were
familiar in old folk stories .(Best example of weaving a web and catching entire society and make them dependent on them for all their needs starting from Education, Jobs, etc.

But it is very common in colleges [HE] and it is named as Academic Administration and also calculated in the world-load. Many places administrative staffs are very few and most of the activities run by faculty only.
