Skills Required and Job Description:

Responsibilities: Consults with clients and other project team members to design, build and manage websites Develops installation programs for websites May negotiate contracts/agreements with software vendors and other internet companies Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures (i.e., SQL, C++, HTML, CGI and JavaScript) Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Performs a variety of complicated tasks May lead and direct the work of others A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected Typically reports to a project leader or manager Assist with database design to allow for effective ETL and Web Services for BI Manage large, high transaction volume MS SQL 2008 R2 EE SQL Database Manage multiple MS SQL Instances in a multi-data center hosted environment Provide performance tuning recommendations Direct and interface with Data Center Systems DBA Teams for management of MS SQL Servers Interface with the customer on system requirements Update schema, indexes, partitions, etc. as required to provide an effective application environment Assist Technical Application Management team with management of Applications dependent on MS SQL Server Applications include BravePoint Pro2 MS SQL consolidated target DB, Radley X/DC and others   Requirements: May require a bachelor’s degree in a related area 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area Skill Proficiency: SQL Server DBA 2008 R2 Senior
