Skills Required and Job Description:

Individual contributor position responsible for supporting all facets of project delivery for the VS Digital Platform; including creative, business and technical requirements, project scoping, quality assurance and compliance with established standards. Candidates must have an in-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle with the ability to communicate project status, issues, and resolutions in a small team environment and have demonstrated experience with Agile development, writing user stories, use cases, and using requirements elicitation tools (mock-up tools, user story modeling tools). The role requires close coordination with IT, Marketing, Planning, Finance, Web Merchants, Web Coordination, and Customer Call Center. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
 
• Support cross-functional project team (IT, Planning, Marketing, ICS, Web Merchants and Customer Call Center) through design studio sessions to best determine the design and functional scope/requirements of projects
 
• Provide recommendations to Product Owner on all project scope changes that impact project budget, timeline or general project objectives.
 
• Work with Product Owner and executive mentor to define project success metrics. Manage to metrics for success and report out to project leadership.
 
• Partner with IT project management team to support definition and documentation of technical scope (support the “voice of the business” in these technology sessions)
 
• Partner with all cross-functional partners (Web Merchants, Internet Creative Services, Web Coordination, Marketing, Planning, Finance, Customer Call Center and Distribution Center teams) to ensure development cycle deliverables and deadlines are met
 
• Develop, manage and utilize project documentation (creative assets, timelines, statements of work, client/user side testing plans, hind sighting documentation)
 
• Organize strategy and resources in user acceptance testing and troubleshooting for all new site functionality; manage and lead prioritization of testing defects for the project for proper tracking, resolution and implementation
 
• Manage the tracking and resolving site issues related to cycle development work
 
• Partner with the Site Operations/Optimization team(s) to identify transition and training plan to take web projects from implementation to steady-state teams
 
• Contribute to project process improvements via frequent retrospectives
 
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure rapid execution of projects and outstanding site performance
 
• Support and review incoming project initiatives and determine functional and departmental impact; prepare resource planning as necessary with project budgeting process
 

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
 
• An eye for detail, strong analytical skills and a passion to innovate
 
• Ability to prioritize, manage time and meet aggressive deadlines
 
• Strong time and project management skills
 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
 
• Ability to work cross functionally and coordinate with outside vendors
 
• Highly proficient in internet usage and web based applications
 
• Understanding of e-commerce business landscape
 
• Fluency in web technologies (i.e. HTML, data flow models, etc)
 

EXPERIENCE
 
• Bachelors Degree required in a related field
 
• 5-7 years professional experience in direct retail, e-commerce, or consulting environment
 
• 3 + years in project team management role
 
• Experience working under tight deadlines and with cross-functional teams
