provide senior-level production support for a customer facing iis/asp.net based application environment. maintain and support the organization’s technical infrastructure, hardware, and software components for moderate to highly complex projects.
Job details:
work with networking, system administration, database, and other teams to setup, maintenances, and troubleshooting.
- work with development, qa and deployment teams to facilitate code development, testing and deployment.
- participate in project meetings and provide technical leadership on operational matters.
- properly document designs and create/update documentation for the environment.
- performance monitoring and capacity planning for the server environment
- participate in on-call rotation in support of 24x7 production environment.
- adhere to change management processes and procedures.
- stay abreast of current trends in the industry and provide recommendations for improving the environment.
- performs other related duties as assigne
Skill/experience/education
mandatory:
5+ years windows server experience (window 2003 – 2008)
5+ years’ experience with iis (6.0 and newer) and .net tools and framework
experience supporting a customer facing windows production environment
ability to work autonomously and with a diverse team.
ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
ability to present ideas and manage projects.
Desired:
bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is preferred
