Title: Information Security Consultant- SME

Position : Information Security – Subject Matter Expert
JOB ROLE
Individuals with extensive experience in Information Security concepts, architecture, planning, design, engineering, implementation, troubleshooting and support of large scale enterprise. Primarily responsible for handling security incident by analyzing, designing, installing, administering, maintaining and troubleshooting security tools, process and procedures. Thorough understanding of security tools. Capable of demonstrating high level of knowledge surrounding information security, Digital rights management, e-mail security, Identity and access management and security audits
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and Deployment of various SIEM tools (eg. IBM Q-Radar), E-mail Security tools (Eg. forefront, Symantec), Identity management tools (eg. Sail point)
• Providing solutions to complex security incidents
• Protects system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.
• Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities; reporting violations.
• Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
• Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.
• Upgrades system by implementing and maintaining security controls.
• Keeps users informed by preparing performance reports; communicating system status.
• Maintains quality of service by following organization standards.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• 24 X 7 availability to provide support on critical security incidents
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 8 yrs of experience or above in information security area
• Experience in handling design, deploy and troubleshooting of Security tools
• Certified in any one of Information security tools
• Experience in handling complex security incidents
• Thorough knowledge on SIEM, ID Access management, e-mail security tools, System Administration and Network Security
• Strong leadership abilities, with the capability to develop and guide information security team members and IT operations personnel, and work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the IT organization, management and business personnel; in-depth knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts and principles as a means of relating business needs to security controls; an excellent understanding of information security concepts, protocols, industry best practices and strategies
• Proficiency in performing risk, business impact, control and vulnerability assessments, and in defining treatment strategies
• Knowledge of and experience in developing and documenting security architecture and plans, including strategic, tactical and project plans.
• Strong analytical skills to analyze security requirements and relate them to appropriate security controls.
• An understanding of operating system internals and network protocols
