Job Description:Role: Perl Developer
Duration: 1 year to Longterm
Location: Burlington, MA
 
The candidate selected for this position will be contributing to the design and development of our enterprise class messaging platform developing highly scalable and reliable distributed systems
Qualifications for this role include:
•           Bachelors Degree preferred.
•           Minimum five to eight years of experience with design of multi-process, asynchronous distributed systems.  Minimum three to five years of experience working with Web Servers and (Apache) as well as experience with Internet protocols and technologies (XML, SOAP, SAML, SSO, Axis, JAXB)
•           Experience developing / working with ActiveMQ or other queueing systems.
•           Basic understanding of load balancing technologies.
•           Proficiency in PERL,  and PHP and Java is a must. Experience developing / working with Web Services APIs, REST/SOAP is also required. Helpful to know Perl's Inside-Out object model. Java a plus. Experience with Linux and open source technologies considered favorably.
