Title: Cassandra DBA (4)
Location: STL, DAL, SEA, ATL, or REMOTE
Duration: 2+ Year contract
Interview time: Friday
Start Date: ASAP!
Hours: M-F 8-5 (24/7 on call)

 

MUST:
- Experience as a Cassandra DBA
- Maintenance and operations experience
- 12+ years in IT and admin/operations
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in Cassandra
- Data Modeling
- Performance tuning
- Capacity planning
- Configuration
- Architecture
- Installations

 

PLUS:
- Apache Zookeeper experience
- Apache Hadoop experience

 

Role:
We are looking for 4 candidates that will be part of a Cassandra DBA team with a huge companywide project.  They will be doing perf. tuning, maintenance, installs, data modeling, and operational duties within Cassandra databases.

 

They are looking for someone with heavy experience in Administration/operations with their most recent experience being in Cassandra as a DBA.
