Skills Required and Job Description:

Interview Mode: Phone Hire. Job Summary: My client is seeking a person able to work in a team environment to design and develop software for IBM’s Technology group. The successful candidate will design, develop and maintain MS-Access software solutions for mortgage servicing, state and federal compliance, and financial systems. Key Accountabilities:  Design new software solutions utilizing MST software development practices Develop applications in MS-Access Ability to write code in Visual Basic or Visual Basic for Applications  Required Core Competencies:  Accountability: Able to take responsibility for all work activities and personal actions Fostering Teamwork:  The ability and desire to work cooperatively with others on a team; demonstrate interest, skill and success in getting groups to learn to work together Personal Credibility:  Demonstrated concern that one be perceived as responsible, reliable, and trustworthy Results Orientation:  The ability to focus on the desired results of one’s own or one’s team work; setting challenging goals, focusing effort on the goals, and meeting or exceeding them Written Communication:   The ability to express oneself clearly in business writing  Required Qualifications:  Five (5) years of experience with Visual Basic for Applications or Visual Basic Five (5) years of developing in MS-Access Experience working with MS-Office (Excel, Word) applications and developing solutions for them Minimum of two (2) years Experience working with MS-SQL Server, developing stored procedures and writing T-SQL queries The ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously A demonstrated ability of completing assigned tasks on time  Preferred Qualifications:  Experience in financial lending industry Experience in mortgage servicing experience Experience in MS .Net 2.0 and above and C# Experience with Objected Oriented programming Five (5) years of related experience. A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
