RE: [MTC Global] Low productivity in government service ( public employees)

Unionism , job security and corruption of anti-corruption agencies are problems at the shop floor level. Lack of transparency and accountability for actions and non-actions and wrong actions in the name of course of duty are two main reasons of poor productivity at other levels.

Can you give me some ideas on  reasons for  poor productivity among employees of government departments?

 

Some that I know are : low public service motivation (PSM), lack of person-job fit, leadership, culture, and  lack of vision and goals.
