Job Description:

 

Electronic Medical Records Project Manager

EMR Project Manager will actively manage the implementation of all components of the Electronic Medical Record. Candidate will plan, execute, and finalize assigned projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes identifying necessary resources and coordinating the efforts of team members to deliver projects according to plan.

 

MUST HAVES:

·         Bachelor’s degree plus equivalent experience, in business or a science (computer science, mathematics, engineering, statistics, clinical discipline, etc.).

·         PMP certification

·         5+ years Project Management experience

·         3+ years Healthcare experience

·         2+ years’ experience implementing EMR Software

·         HL7 experience

·         Understanding of the Meaningful Use of an Electronic Health Records (“EHR”) provisions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (“ARRA”)

·         Health information exchange (HIE) knowledge/understanding

·         Physician documentation and CPOE experience

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills a must.

·         Must possess a personal sense of urgency.

·         Travel is required throughout client locations.
