The job description is below for your review:
Top responsibilities for this position:
1) Work with software development professionals building portal applications in the J2EE/Portal environment
2) Proposing technology solutions to enable the business to meet/exceed established goals
3) Delivering a robust self-service environment for the end user community
4) Implementing/maintaining a repeatable iterative software development methodology
5) Ensuring ongoing compliance with SDLC processes
Software tools/skills needed to perform these daily responsibilities:
Javascript, Java, Spring, Maven, Websphere
Must have:
•3+ years of Javascript, Java/J2EE application development experience
•Experience delivering web-based technology solutions to meet business needs
•3+ years of experience with Spring and Apache
•Experience with Maven or a similar build tool
REQUIRED: Big data – Must have basic knowledge and understanding
• No Sql databases like MongoDB or Hadoop
Nice to have:
•Experience with WSDL, SOAP, Webservices, XML Schemas, JDBC
•Experience with WebSphere, Hibernate, JQuery, JMS, JSP, Maven, CQ5, HTML
•Java 4 and/or 5+ certified
