About the Opportunity:
searching for a confident, seasoned, and dynamic consultant to serve as the Adobe LiveCycle Expert on a highly visible program. The Adobe LiveCycle Expert has complete responsibility for upgrade, integration and configuration of Adobe LifeCycle ES4 . This person will provide support in a dynamic environment to ensure that a technical/non-technical multi-vendor team of 30+ resources provides responsive and high quality end-to-end support, including development, help desk, hosting, and database administration. Services include quarterly releases of new code and enhancements to existing functionality and support of a 24x7 environment in the Reston, VA area. A top candidate would be very client focused. To be a strong team player you must be proactive in identifying issues and risks, and work with the client and the team to be a trusted advisor. Another challenge is maintaining an excellent level of current operational support while planning and integrating new enhancements and technologies. To be successful you will see this position as the lynchpin to the success of the overall federal grants management line of business. This is a very fast paced environment. With this role comes an opportunity to learn new technologies and take a position of visibility at high levels within DMI and the Grants community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analysis of user functional and non-functional requirements
- Corrective and evolutionary maintenance of all supportive subsystems, including Adobe LiveCycle services and workflows, Oracle WebLogic JEE-based web services, and dynamic PDF electronic forms
- Provision of quality and security assessments, control tests, evaluations and service level agreements associated with client's established Adobe LiveCycle & Oracle Weblogic JEE infrastructure services
- Provision of Adobe product and Weblogic JEE technical expert assistance to other team members
- Technical evaluations and review of IS architecture in relation with client's current and future Adobe LiveCycle infrastructure
- Production of technical documentation
- 10+ years expertise with Adobe in a fast, dynamic and growing environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Excellent knowledge of ES4
- Excellent knowledge and proven professional experience in large IT projects of the following technologies and the relevant development methodologies, tools, frameworks: Java/JEE (Web Services in particular), JavaScript, and XML (e.g. XSD, XSLT,…)
- Excellent knowledge of service oriented architecture and design of Internet applications
- Strong experience in ICT consulting and the realization of ICT studies (aptitude to write clear and structured technical documents)
- Strong experience in the domain of the study (e.g. quality control, security, requirements analysis, performance analysis, a specific technical domain like vulnerability testing, business process modelling, …)
- Very good knowledge of Oracle RDBMS
- Public Trust (Desired)
