Job Description:Mandatory Skills
•    Extensive experience with data, data science and analytical methods
•    Proficient in SQL and has experience performing healthcare claims analysis.
•    SQL coding experience mandatory with evidenced ability to pick up coding variations in SQL
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in working with administrative claims and other data sources providing analysis and reporting of healthcare related data
•    Experience in data use with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and R and or SAS will be critical in the success of this position
•    A Master’s degree Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Business, or Health Services research (such as public health) or a related field
•    Excellent written and verbal skills required
•    Superb time management skills and be able to accommodate changing priorities
•    Willingness to work both independently, and within a team environment
•    Prior working experience with Healthcare client / Hospitals 

Job Responsibilities:
•    This position is responsible for developing and delivering measures and analytics across seven specialty benefit management programs. The Advisor in this position will be looked upon as a mentor and leader within the department and throughout the organization and may be asked to lead projects as needed
•    Understand various CareCore data sources and how each relates in order to support client and management reporting/analysis requirements
•    Provide support on projects designed to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care
•    Assist with any ad hoc requests or special projects that require data analysis
•    Assist others in their use, manipulation, and understanding of CareCore National’s data
•    Constantly seek out opportunities to implement technological and process improvements in order to provide more efficient and accurate reporting. Identify new measures and reporting which illustrate the power and value of CCN’s delivery model
•    Perform other work as requested
