Job Description:Description:
·         Service Transition Consultant - Cloud Technology
·         Primary duties include transitioning Healthcare developed private cloud services (IaaS) from Design/implementation phase to the operational phase.
·         Responsible for developing detailed transition plan (based on ITIL methodology) that include validating new services against business and technical requirements, designing procedures for steady sate operations and support model .
·         Other duties include providing technology consultation and general project management and execution.



Activities:
·         Design and develop detailed plan around service transition activities
·         Develop service validation book to test business and technical requirements
·         Verify project artifacts (Design docs, operational run book etc.) and provide recommendations
·         Provide interim operational support (Incident/Problem/Change Management) during transition period
·         Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system level issues and/or provide guidance
·         Present and implement solutions to business and technology partners
·         Work with Service Portfolio and Service Design/implementation team to define/publish SLA's and supporting SLO's
 


Job Requirements: Basic Qualification:
·         Must have in-depth knowledge of Server Virtualization Technologies, specifically VMware vSphere/ESXi
·         Must have 2-3 years' experience in implementing private/hybrid cloud services (iaas/paas)
·         Hands on experience with Virtual Server Provisioning and Automation Tools like VMWare vCloud Automation Center (vCAC) and/or IBM ISDM
·         Must have thorough knowledge of Scripting and Work flow Automation tools
·         Must have good understanding of Storage Technologies and Storage Virtualization
·         Good understanding of System Security – Regulatory and Compliance
·         Good understanding of networking concepts(DNS, DHCP, VLAN)
·         Good understanding of LDAP (MS AD)
·         Working knowledge of CMDB tools like Asset Management, Remedy etc.
·         Good understanding of Software Defined Data Center
