Windows/VMware Engineer with Financial exp.

Location: New York City, NY

Duration: Long term

Job description
The successful candidate will join our client services team as a full-time Wintel System Engineer. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Financial industry and has a sound knowledge of core infrastructure technologies such as virtual desktop (preferably VMware View), Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, scripting and excellent communication and documentation skills

Required Skills:

·         5+ years' experience in overall IT (either systems or network engineering)

·         VMware current certifications required

·         5+ years system administration hands on experience with one or more of the following: MS Exchange, VDI, Citrix, Scripting, Active Directory, Windows

·         Excellent communication and documentation skills

·         Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field

·         Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, make sound decisions in emergency situations.

·         Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

·         Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
