Job Description:Position: Malware Analyst/Engineer
 
Location: Stamford, CT
 
Duration: FULL TIME


Job Requirements:  
 
MALWARE ANALYST
 
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 
 
-Analyzing malicious software in support of incident analysis and rapid response for clients.
 
-Performing dynamic and static analysis and reverse engineering of malware.
 
-Providing Malware analysis results in technical analysis reports.
 
-Creating Detection Methods and Cure Methods for blocking and cleaning malware with static and dynamic methods.
 
-Manipulate reverse-engineering tools and scripting languages as well as virtual machine/networking software.
 
-Identity the methodology of hackers posing a potential threat to our customer's networks and systems.
 
-Document results in time-sensitive reports, presentations, and analyst exchanges
 
-Conduct research, document, and develop malware analytical methods and tools
 
-Identify and document high impact, emerging, and complex malware threats
 
-Collaborate with peers across the community
 
-Work as part of a government-contractor team, giving and receiving effective feedback.
 
 
 
 
 
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 
 
 
-The Candidate shall be able to recognize the high level language constructs (such as branching statements, looping functions and network socket code) critical to performing a thorough and professional reverse engineering analysis of a binary.
 
-5+ years of experience performing Reverse Engineering of Malware
 
-Experience with Assembly Language, PERL, Debugging, and C and C++ Programming
 
-Certified Ethical Hacker Certification or CEH
 
-Initiative, solid judgment, and strong work ethic requiring minimal supervision
 
-Strong presentation and writing skills
 
-Must successfully pass the job qualification requirements following orientation and familiarization.
 
 
 
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 
-GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) certification or other SANS Security Administration certifications (GCFA, GCIA, GPEN, etc)
 
-Experience with signals intelligence databases and reporting is highly desired
 
-Experience with Snort IPS
