Re: [MTC Global] education and learning

I am not in full agreement of the statement. Education provides an environment. The environment
is provided/created either by some external agency (what others do to one) or self-created
through one's senses, translating signals into learning. Ekalavya, Thomas Alva Edison,
Dnyaneshwar, Tukaram, and many others learn on their own. In fact,education and learning are in-
separable. Even in the absence of external education-means, one can learn though educating
oneself and on the other hand in-spite of rich education resources one may not learn at all. One
can take a horse to the water, but drinking water is left totally to the will of the horse.

In our literature, we come across a term "Mumukshu", the man having earnest desire to learn like
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, and educational climate automatically generated.
