Role : Java Web Services Developer

Duration: 18 months

Start: 1-2 weeks

F2F required

Responsibilities:

Looking for middleware JAVA developers with experience in JAVA webservices development and messaging using SOAP/XML. Experience with schema development is a plus. Experience with Spring Framework, Cross Fire (CXF), Spring web services and other open source JAVA framework and tools is a plus. Experience with Atalssian tools (WIKI, JIRA) and related design/development of the same is a plus.

Required Skills:

BS in Computer Science or equivalent, 7+ years in client server technology development.

Ideal if you have exposure to these technical languages/products: OOD, Java and J2EE (POJOs and Servlets), Spring, Tomcat 6.0, SOAP Stack (Apache Axis or Systinet), XSD, XML, XSLT, WSDLs, SQL and JDBC (Informix and DB2),Eclipse, JUnit, Ant, Clearcase, JProbe.

Must possess technical understanding of developing Enterprise Web Services specific applications in a Windows environment, deploy on HP-Unix;

Some back ground in production support and management of problems and resolving issues is desired.

Proficiency in writing code, comments, and unit testing;

Proficiency in writing and maintaining application frameworks such as Spring.

Experience with distributed systems (HTTP, SSL, Networking, Muli-tier environment) and experience with host data access protocols (e.g., MQ, DB2 connect) is desired.

Proficiency with analyzing memory issues, garbage collection, CPU and performance issues.

Nice to have Skills:

Should possess strong analytical and problem solving skills

Must be a quick thinker, learner, go-doer who can independently resolve problems with less direction. Good leadership skills.

A good team player who can collaborate and work closely with multiple functional groups.

Must have strong and effective communication skills, and ability to multi-task and work under stringent timeline's within a strong, high energy team environment.

Familiarity with the APS application environment, messages and framework is a huge plus.
