Job Description:

This position is responsible for provisioning, managing and monitoring Hadoop commodity system.

 

Job Responsibilities:

·         Install, configure, upgrade, fix and backup Hadoop commodity system.

·         Monitor the Cluster and perform routine maintenance

·         Provision and manage the Cluster

·         Perform cluster administration and operation support

 

Qualifications:

·         2-year experience in implementing and administrating Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP)

·         Experience in Hadoop related projects at Apache such as Ambari, Zookeeper, Avro, Hive, Yarn.

·         Experience with Linux operating systems

·         Experience with scripting language such as Perl, Python,Java

·         Experience with troubleshooting potential configuration problems.

·         Experience with ITIL process

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Strong collaboration skills, responsive to service needs and operational demands
