Changing Lives:

Christ in you and the Concept of Sin

Outing the Anti-Christ[1]

Prophet Ntemfac Ofege

Mt 24:14 And this gospel (Good News) of the kingdom (salvation, power, prosperity, divinity, immortality, Christ) shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Col 1: 25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God; {to fulfill...: or, fully to preach the word} 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: {in: or, among}

A Mystery is not something that cannot be understood.

Now, the Gospel of the Kingdom is when we unveil and reveal or both reveal and unveil and EXPOUND the deep secrets of God.

The Gospel of the Kingdom is when we speak mysteries and about mysteries.

1Co 4:1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

The word mystery as used in the Bible is not about issues that cannot be understood. The mysteries in the Bible are about things that the Lord God has concealed in his Word and he desires to reveal them to those who believe.

Or unto those who Be+Live.

A mystery is thus a truth that can only be understood by the initiated.

In his time, the Lord Jesus unveiled and revealed many things about the kingdom of God but he spoke in parables.

In fact, the most lethal revelations about the Lord God and his ways and his kingdom are contained in the parables.

“The kingdom of God is like…the kingdom of God is like...”

Until you are able to decipher the hidden message of the parables you may never know what exactly Jesus meant.

And, the very concept of Christ in You or Christ-ianity, my friend, is a mystery.

Christ in You.

Christ with you.

Christ for you.

Christ as you.

You as Christ.

You as a Christ-ian.

Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Christ in you.

The awesome truth that you came from God.

That sin separated you from God.

That, yes, Jesus came to re-connect you to God.

That, you can indeed, as the song say, arise and return to your Father.

Not when you die.

But right here, right now.

This is being Christ-ian.

This is living life abundantly.

This is Christ-ianity.

It is the awesome mystery of how, in his infinite wisdom, a MAN, called God, made his children in his image and likeness, only slightly lower than himself in his kingdom and sent them forth to learn how to be kings. So that they can co-rule his vast domains with him for eternity.

Job 7:17 What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him? 18 And that thou shouldest visit him every morning, and try him every moment?

Job 15:14 What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?

Ps 8: 1 A Psalm of David. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. 2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.  3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; 4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than GOD, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. 6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: 7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;  8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. 9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

Friends, when the translator came upon Verse 5 of the above psalm, saying that the Lord God made man only slightly lower than himself, he panicked. He could not believe what he was reading so he wrote, slightly lower than angels.

It is also clear than the translator of NIV panicked when he came upon Isaiah 45:11.

Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.

See the RSV and NIV rendition.

11  Thus says the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: "Will you question me about my children, or command me concerning the work of my hands?

The exact opposite.

Whereas does you son need to beg you for food?

The little fellow just stands there and states the law, period.

So too it is with this man called God, whose name is LOVE.

He does not provide unto his children.

He supplies.

Php 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Man has only 7 needs. But that is another teaching altogether.

God is committed to supplying all.

Ps 144:3 LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!

People allow themselves to be misled by religion because they have never paused to know who the Lord God is, who they are to him, and why Jesus came.

Read all of John 10.

The Lord Jesus stated the reason for his coming most succinctly in John 10:10, a verse that most of us recite by heart.

John 10:10. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Not I CAME!

I am come.

Not I WILL come.

I am come!

I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Wait a minute, why would this man say unto living beings: I am come that you may have life and live life more abundantly?

Were these people dead?

Were they not living life?

What life was he talking about?

How do you get this life?

Let’s go to Genesis the very beginning of it all.

Let us start at the very beginning.

Genesis: The Fall of Adam and the Concept of Sin: from the very beginning i.e. the Genesis Account.

Friend, we are created by a God who is a Spirit.

There is a big difference between CREATION and Making or FORMING.

God creates in the spirit first and then he forms.

In fact, all things are first created in the spirit and then formed into existence.

You create the house that you would build in your spirit first – the PLAN – and then you set about building it don’t you?

Jer 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. {ordained: Heb. gave}

Lizards give birth to lizards.

Dogs give birth to dogs.

A God can only engender Gods after his image and after his likeness.

Ps 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. 7 nevertheless, you shall die like men, and fall like any prince."

Joh 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

If you do not know who you are you shall die very ordinary.

You will be a very ordinary prince.

So the Lord God created the man in his spirit.

Then he formed him in the womb.

Ge 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

His image is that we look like him.

His likeness is that we have his character.

We behave like him.

Ps 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

Ro 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Ro 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

 Php 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; {harmless: or, sincere} {ye shine: or, shine ye}

1Jo 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

1Jo 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Friend, NOW are we the sons of God.

Now.

Not tomorrow.

Not when we die.

Right here, right now.

Through Christ

In Christ

As Christ in you

You.

It is FREE.

Graciously offered.

Freely given.

But this honour must be received.

4 STEPS to God

http://www.4stepstogod.com/

I have told you this.

One nanosecond after you do what is in this link, God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Spirit now reside in you.

Why would they lie to you?

Joh 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Friend, Christ in YOU the hope of Glory.

Christ in you.

Christ as you.

The Holy Spirit in you.

Divinity Relocated.

Born again.

Regenerated.

By Faith.

Friend, you are not regenerated, born again, saved because of your good works. It is because of your WORD.

Romans 10: 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Because of the WORD of God.

1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.

The Word of God is God

The Word of God is Christ.

The Words of God is infallible.

The Word of God is active.

The Word of God is Truth

Joh 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

God says it, I believe it, that settles it.

Nu 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

The Word of God accomplishes everything that it sets out to accomplish.

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Jer 23:29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

The Word of God came to restore us to dominion.

The Word of God is Jesus.

The Word of God is the Christ of God.

John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  2 He was in the beginning with God; 3 all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The Word of God became flesh…..14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father….

The Word of God came unto us but we did not know him.

We did not receive him.

Instead we indulged in meaningless religious rites and satanic services.

But as many as received him he gave unto them POWER – the Christ – to become Sons of God.

John 1: 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world knew him not.  11 He came to his own home, and his own people received him not. 12 But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God; 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.  16 And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

As many as received him je have them POWER to become the Sons of God!

POWER!

POWER!

Power to be born again.

Power to be born of God.

Power to be a child of God.

Power to grow to be a Son of God.

Friend, this POWER is the Christ!

It is a QUICKENING POWER!

It is a regenerating power!

It is a Christ-ian POWER!

It is a Dunamis i.e. a dynamic power to cause changes.

It is a POWERFUL POWER!

Without the Christ you can do nothing.

Christ is the vine and we are the branches.

The branches bear the fruit, not by DOING but by staying in the vine.

Joh 15: 1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser.  2 Every branch of mine that bears no fruit, he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already made clean by the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man does not abide in me, he is cast forth as a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples.

In Christ you bear much fruit.

In Christ you can do all things.

Php 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Notice that it is: through Christ WHICH strengtheneth me.

Not who strengtheneth me.

Christ-ianity, my friend, is a demonstration of POWER through Christ.

At all times and over every circumstance.

Ro 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: {power

Do you desire this POWER to be a SON of God?

Then do this:

4 STEPS to God

http://www.4stepstogod.com/

Friend, I am not talking church.

I am not talking dead religion

I am talking God.

I am talking Life.

I am talking truth.

Remember Genesis?

The Lord God did not create the light, the heaven and the earth by DOING.

By Working.

He created these things by SAYING.

By the Word.

By his WORD.

Genesis 1: 3 And God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.

I keep showing you this, the POWER of the WORD.

You do not gain salvation and heaven by DOING

You are saved because of your word.

If thou shall confess with thy mouth.

If thou shall confess with thy mouth.

If thou shall confess with thy mouth.

De 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

How do you choose life?

Simple, my friend.

Do this:

4 STEPS to God

http://www.4stepstogod.com/

Your tongue.

Your life.

If you confess with your mouth, you shall be saved.

Why is it so?

Pr 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

You see, the Lord God is his Word.

We are PEOPLE OF THE WORD.

We were made by the WORD.

In fact, the especial character of himself that the Lord God gave us is the WORD.

The Lord Jesus even taught us this MAJOR principle of the Word.

Mt 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Mt 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

If ye shall SAY!

If ye shall SAY!

If ye shall SAY!

Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

God is a spirit.

We came from God.

Hence we are spirit beings.

Because our Father is a Spirit.

Man is a spirit, he lives in a body and he has a soul.

1Th 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sin separated us from our Father but in Christ we are reconnected, reconciled in him.

2Co 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. {committed...:
