Position: Oracle DBA
Duration : Contract Position
Location: Thousands Oak ,CA
Rate: $52 on C2C only…..
Typical Duties:
- Provide application database development and operational database support
- Well spoken and comfortable communicating with customer facing activities
- Responsible for database backups, recoveries, patches, upgrades, design, development, testing, and performance tuning
- Participation in client meetings will be required
Required Skills and/or Product Knowledge:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience working with ORACLE database systems
- Oracle 11g DBA experience in application development and operational support
- Experience in Oracle 11g database architecture, automation, installs, backup & recovery, monitoring, and database query tuning
- Strong performance and tuning skill
- RMAN experience in Oracle 11g
- Shell scripting skill is required
- Database partitioning, patching, and cloning experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
- Ability to work effectively in a team and with clients
