Description:
 - The successful Oracle Production DBA monitors and provides First Level support under a variety of break/fix situations, change execution, patching maintenance, and upgrades.
 - Typical monitoring and response is relevant to the support of database backup processes, DBA utility jobs, alert driven ticketing and pages, Emergency Conference Calls, as well as to general internal requests.
 - Sound communication and organizational skills are essential as the Production DBA interacts with a variety of internal clients, leadership, and fellow colleagues.
 - The Production DBA works in a 24x7 availability setting and delivers prompt and elevated levels of expertise across a wide variety of technical skillsets
The Oracle Production DBA succeeds in utilizing the following technology and capabilities:
 - Oracle RMAN Backup/Recovery
 - Oracle Clusterware/RAC/CRS
 - Oracle Wait Event Interface
 - Oracle Datapump and other typical Database Utilities
 - Oracle SQL Apply Replication (Streams, GoldenGate, Veridata)
 - Oracle OEM, Alerting and General Performance Monitoring
 - Oracle Space Management related to ASM, Database and OS
 - Oracle Dataguard/StandbyDB
 - Oracle Flash Recovery Operations
 - Oracle Oracle SR/ADRCI Creation/Maintenance
 - Oracle DBA Security (SOX/users/roles/profiles/tables/privs/unix)
 - Oracle SQL/PLSQL Scripting
 - Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
