I feel that there should be universal quality charter for different categories of higher education institute to define quality of infrastructure, faculty, evaluation system, data and communications, competency building aspect – there should be a self-assessment, rechecked and commented upon by affiliating authority, cross checked by the national accreditation or assessment authority and necessary action taken. Assessment found below certain level should immediately lead to de-recognition of such institutes (no fines no warnings) and their students accommodated in other institutes.
