Job Descriptions:
-This is an infrastructure position. Looking for someone that can engineer cloud infrastructure and implementing scalable applications and using application tools like CF Engine, Chef, Puppet, etc.
Our long-term focus is to develop high quality products that are easy to use and solve real world problems. Our Product Development strategy takes Cloud and Software-as-a-Service to the next conceptual level. Current Cloud and Big Data strategies are infrastructure-centric. Instead, we operate with the entire solution stack and scope. Our tools and products use the latest interface technologies, inherit attributes of both Big Data and High Performance Compute strategies, and are proven to deliver results in real life environments.
In this role we are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer capable to architect and engineer automated solutions deploying applications and configurations in elastic compute cloud environments. This role will involve minimal traveling and work in Fortune 100 environments.
Qualifications:
· Strong fundamentals in software engineering and computer science
· Deep familiarity with the components of cloud-based services, including caching, database architecture, API design, queuing services, etc.
· Scripting automation skills: Bash, AWK/SED, Perl, Python, Ruby, etc.
· Experience designing, integrating, and managing complex infrastructure solutions and providing best practices guidance on the architectural design across multiple applications, projects, or the enterprise.
· Experience with application configuration tools: CFEngine, chef, puppet, etc.
· Working understanding/experience with IT as a Service, Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, Systems Management, IT Operations tools and best practices
· Experience with VMWare cloud automation and workflow automation tools
· An effective collaborative team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field
