Role : Windows System Administrator

Location:  Altoona, PA

Duration:  4 Months
Interview : Phone and F2F

 

·         5 to 8 years of experience.

·         Must have patch management, change management and asset management experience.

·         Onsite only.

·         Strong active directory experiences. 

·         Open rate.

·         Must start in two weeks

·         Please Note:  A face-to-face interview WILL be required after an initial phone interview.

 

 

Position #2: 
Role : Windows System Administrator

Location:  Altoona, PA

Duration:  6+ Months (potential to go very long term)
Interview : Phone and F2F

 

Senior level Windows Administrator to assist a retail client domain as well as various other Windows related tasks.  The candidate will report to our Corporate Windows Administrator and work closely with several others in our Stores Systems department.   We are looking for an "expert" who can review our environment and make "experienced" based recommendations for improving our Windows environment at store level.  Depending on the rate we are looking to have someone onsite for at least 6 months.

Here are some of the items we would like this person to assist with:

1. Provide any "real-world" experience knowledge with configuring, tuning, and improving our Windows Domain and related items.
2. We will be reconfiguring our Store Domain Active Directory.  We would like this person to analyze our current environment and make recommendations on the new configuration.
3. Review all policies and scripts.
4. Create any scripts or procedures to improve day to day tasks.
5. Review patching procedures.
6. Review imaging procedures.
7. Verify Microsoft Licensing.
8. Work with our Security department to verify our Windows Domain environment and procedures.
9. Review Corporate Windows Domain environment and make any recommendations for improvements.

 

 

The candidate should have the following skills:

1. Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Administration
2. Windows Patching
3. Windows Imaging
4. Scripting - experience with Perl, VBS, Python, and Java
5. Project Management
6. Familiar with Endpoint Management Tools such as Dell's KACE product.
7. Security (PCI Compliance)
8. LDAP
