Role: IT Systems Analyst
Location: Beaverton, OR with probable extension
Duration: 6 months i
Responsible for developing recommendations and performing applications design in order to implement or enhance multiple key business processes and/or applications ensuring these systems are used properly and to the fullest benefit. This position entails understanding and documenting business needs, identifying process improvements and performing technology transfers. The IT Systems Analyst is involved from inception through implementation of development efforts and will contribute to the configuration and/or development of delivered solutions as well as perform systems analysis.
Required Qualifications
§ Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent experience.
§ Five (5) or more years of experience in at least one (1) technical component such as a requirements gathering (interview techniques, questionnaires), requirements analysis (documentation: sequence, activity, state, prioritization, cost/benefit, gap, traceability analysis), business process re-engineering (current/future process/data flows, time studies) or project management.
§ Eight (8) years of experience using PC skills including proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications.
§ Five (5) or more years of experience working in compliance with company policies and procedures.
§ Five (5) or more years of experience using analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and time management skills
§ Five (5) or more years of experience using organizational and planning skills.
Preferred Qualifications
§ Six or more years experience in a business analyst role.
§ Three (3) or more years of managing complex assignments.
§ Three (3) or more years experience in design, configure and develop applications.
§ Three (3) or more years of working in a financial/banking institution.
Special Requirements
§ This position may be required to work evenings/weekends in support of a project go-live or to make up time on work that is slipping
§ Off-Site Work Options – This position is not eligible to be considered for off-site alternative work options

Key Accountabilities
§ Engage in solutions design, configuration and/or development.
§ Maintain proficient working knowledge of use case writing and other requirements analysis techniques; make recommendations based on knowledge of new technology trends.
§ Assist in the development of project charters and financial business cases.
§ Develop and maintain solid partnerships with relevant personnel and departments.
§ Ensure adherence to and support of IT governance policies while maintaining strong customer service orientation.
§ Translate team member requirements into application functionality with sufficient technical background to define non-functional requirements.
§ Explore, identify and document business requirements (exposing root cause) understanding and prioritizing dependencies.
§ Perform business analysis, business process re-engineering, requirements gathering and problem solving in support of a specific business user community.
§ Develop gap analysis between existing and proposed functionality of business applications.
§ Develop functional requirements that represent business needs using UML and use cases.
§ Contribute to the usability and performance of applications employed within the user community by acquiring user feedback and cross referencing business processes with application usage.
§ Serve as a business systems knowledge source and collaborate with users to solve functional problems and create new business processes.
§ Consult with support and project teams to gather current processes and functional requirements to design systems improvements and optimize application/technology use.
§ Coordinate acceptance testing of new application systems and technology.
§ Maintain proficient knowledge of and adhere to project management and software delivery methodologies.
§ Lead business process discussions.
§ Assist in application testing.
