Job Description:The Cloud System Enterprise (CSE)
IaaS Implementation is a project for the client which will enable them to import the details of the existing vCenter Virtual machines to the Cloud Service Automation (CSA) portal so that the end users will be able to manage their virtual machine through the portal.  This import process will be done with out of the box (OOB) supported minimal integrations to support the client's internal customers, so that those virtual machines (VM's) hosted outside their data center can be brought into their internal data center. The CSA service design development will be done in CSE appliance virtual machine of Phoenix data center.  Since the disaster recovery is at the VMWare/VM level across Phoenix and Washington Datacenter, enabling disaster recovery mechanism is to be handled by the client's team.
 
 


Job Requirements: Configure and Develop Service

Configure vCenter (one (1) instance) as a resource provider in CSA
Create maximum of three (3) organizations (multi-tenants)
Configure maximum of three (3) LDAP (MSAD) for authentication
Configure one of the OOB supported approval processes
Customization of the market place portal limited to OOB supported customizations like logos.
Configure standard email configurations for notifications
Develop OO flows to support the service design for Import of VM details
Develop service design for the subscriber to provide the VM name as input which populates the details like vmname, vm-id, datacenter, folder, ip address, and MAC address in the subscriber's portal for a subscription request
Develop/update the service design to provide start/stop/restart actions on the imported VM for the subscriber to manage
Develop/update the service design to provide flexing the memory and CPU up and down for the imported VM
Create one (1) service offering
Create One (1) catalog
Publish the catalog to the organizations
Testing and validation of the design by subscribing for services with the customer team
