Database BI/Reporting Analyst for Wells Fargo in Menomonee Falls, WI. 

 

Evaluate current state Business Reporting Team (BRT) reporting processes.
Document process and dimension overlaps, identify improvement/consolidation areas and implement new processes.
Functional requirements for new and changing processes
Create and document standard workflow processes, procedures, column and dimension lineage and column mapping to tables
Identify, document and help build solutions for common processing and inefficiencies within the BRT
Identify common dimensions used in Marketing and Sales analysis processes
Identify areas to eliminate and/or minimize tools used within BRT (SAS, PL/SQL, Cognos, Access, etc.)
Identify, document and help build solutions (SQL coding) for common processing, inefficiencies and new processes within the BRT, ARD and RD activity code o Retail Intermediary cube build code o Integrity reporting and processes to feed errors back to proper groups
Channel report code
Territory management code
Code to combine flows, AUM and activity
Eliminate unnecessary columns and standardize naming
Identify common dimensions used in Marketing and Sales analysis processes and create standard structures
Create Cognos 10 reporting solutions
Drill through reporting (cube to cube, cube to report, report to report)
Interactive and static scorecards and dashboards
Standard reporting in Report and Analysis studio using relational and OLAP sources
Cube tuning Review all dimensions in cube, figure out what is being used, eliminate those columns/dimensions that are not being used from code and cube Eliminate unnecessary columns Dimensionally model source queries for models

Desired Skills 
Cognos 10.2 or 10.2.1 o Framework Manager, Transformer, Report Studio (relational, DMR, and DMX), Query Studio, Event Studio, Analysis Studio, Business Insight, Business Insight Advanced o Cognos Workspace, Cognos Workspace Advanced, Cognos Insight, Dynamic Cubes
SQL, PL/SQL o Ability to create tables and perform complex designs
SAS o Base SAS >9, Enterprise Guide, Enterprise Miner
