Dear Sir,
Exceptions are always there. During my stay in Delhi during 2000-2003,I have seen the students from all parts of India around JNU and DU campus pursuing higher studies and the same time preparing for Civil Services. Here also the major focus is Civil Services and majority discontinue their studies after clearing exam. They take admission for PG and Ph.D. but focus is to prepare for Civil Services......

How about the shift and versatility reflected here Sir.--The best and bright students till date prefer to join civil services. Some highly dedicated and committed individuals still come to the academic profession but this number is more of an exception rather than the rule today. What could be the reason?
