Our salary slip is not stapled/sealed hence its an open access document.Its preety easy to estimate the salary in govt./semi govt. Institutions but alas in private institutions its your network/rapport building/greasing the right palms which decide your declared and undeclared packet.

We observe a plethora of conflicts in organization on salary justification.Still, discuss your salary with colleagues openly, take suggestions, look at your job description,
job evaluation, job enrichment, offer opinions, ask for addnl responsibilities, action plan,,,,,,,,,,Never get into a comparitive mode or take it personally if your own colleague is getting more.
It happens . ASK FOR A HIKE & DEMAND, IF NEED BE. You may or may not get what is expected;
Many a time, Management is unaware of a dissatisfied employee"s salary expectations because he or she has not expressed it to any one in the organization.
