General Summary:
This position exists primarily to ensure continued access to the company's systems via superior security measures, along with performing administration of the security database, web site. Incumbents design and develop automated functions, processes and tools for the security organization. The Senior Security Engineer evaluates industry benchmarks and measures and applies them to enterprise processes, plans and leads implementation of security processes, provides technical leadership and training for all security domains, serves as chief technology consultant in the area of security, under direction of the Corporate Security Manager, conducts extensive, highly sensitive forensic investigations, leads in evaluating and recommending security systems and software, maintains knowledge of emerging technologies in the information security discipline, develops, and publishes, security procedures and policies for enterprise, leads departmental staff in comparing Security processes against industry benchmarks and recommending process improvements.
