Title : Build Engineer

Location : Providence, RI    

Duration : 6+months

 

Requirement Description:

Required Skills:

• Must have experience in writing Unix shell scripts

• Must have experience in writing Ant scripts for build and deployment purposes

• Must have experience in Configuring and administrating Subversion

• Must have experience in Configuring and administrating CI tools such as Bamboo.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Managing Defect tracking tools like JIRA

• Experience in Managing Project Management tools like JAMA Contour

• Experience in WebSphere Administration

• Working knowledge of Java.

 

Responsibilities/Expected Deliverables:

The individual will be responsible to do the following activities on a day-to-day basis:      

Administration and Maintaining the Database including applying patches and upgrades      

Monitor Database performance      

Install and Configure Databases      

Create new database objects      

Implement backup and recover policies      

Setup security policies for users.       

Assist application team in modelling database      

Review SQLs being written by developers      

Analyze application SQLs and provide guidance on improvement.
