Description:

 

Job Description / Tasks:

·         Directly Lead/Manage a small group of Java developers, employees and consultants

·         Develop and lead in a fast paced, deadline driven environment with rapidly changing priorities

·         Design and Develop new Web Services with Apache CXF

·         Develop for, and possibly set up and configure, new ESB platform

·         Debug Existing Systems and identify performance bottlenecks

·         Enhance current systems with component and technology upgrades

·         Focus on server-side and middleware software, primarily in Java

·         Design and implement new APIs for broad use cases

 

Required:

·         BS in Computer Science/Engineering, related degree, or strong relevant and comparable experience

·         5+ years of Object-Oriented software development experience with progressive scope and complexity

·         3+ years of experience as technical manager in an enterprise development environment

·         Hibernate

·         7+ years of experience designing and building custom applications

·         Strong Interpersonal and Leadership Skills

·         Excellent Communication skills

·         Self-starter who can work with small teams in an Agile work environment

·         Spring (Core, Security, MVC)

·         Messaging (JMS)

·         Unit Testing (JUnit, TestNG)

·         Working knowledge of SOAP Web Services, REST is a nice to have

 

Desired:

·         Apache CXF service creation

·         JAXB (XML Schema)

·         Jackson (JSON)

·         ActiveMQ or JBoss AMQ

·         Apache Camel Experience

·         Maven build implementation

·         Development of ESB applications (JBoss FuseESB a Plus)

·         JBoss Application Server (Community or EAP)

·         Development and Maintenance of HA Applications

·         SQL Server 2005+

·         Experience with SVN and GIT

 Nice to Have:

·         Experience with multiple programming languages; Groovy, JavaScript and PHP a plus

·         Experience with Atlassian JIRA, Stash, Confluence, and Bamboo

·         Continuous Integration Experience

·         Conversion to Maven Build Automation

·         Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Storyboards, Sprints)

·         Linux experience, basic server configuration
