The Pharisees of yore were these very religious Jewish folks who put an emphasis on HOLINESS as the incontrovertible pathway to salvation and eternal life.

The Pharisees did not insist on their own holiness as the incontrovertible to salvation and eternal life but they were very regarding on the righteousness of others.

The Pharisees were so religious that they saw the Lord Jesus as not holy enough.

Read Matthew 23, or the Seven Woes unto all hypocrites.

You will find therein what exactly the Lord Jesus told yesterday's and today's Pharisees.

Do you know what it means to be a Neo-Pharisee?

It means to see the flint in the eye of the other man while having a log in one eye.

Take the log out of your eye so that thou may be better placed to see the flint in thy neighbour's eye, mate?

Or do you claim to be holy?

So holy and righteousness that you can JUDGE "men and women of God?"

How Genuine Are Some of these Men of God.

“Men of God or Men of Rape”? How genuine are some of these our men of God? Rape cases committed by them have been on exponential increase. That aside, Divorce cases have also taken a rise amongst these so-called men of God. Pastors Chris(t) Oyahkilome and ex Musician and now "Prophet" Chris(t ) Okotie readily come to mind. At the last count, Pastor "Christ" Okotie has divorced three women. He is barely 50.

 

Odumegwu Onwumere, a poet, writer and investigative journalist, compiled a small list of media reported cases of rape amongst some of these "strange" men of God.

On Thursday, 21 July 2014, members of Odua Peoples Congress Almighty, OPCA, in Abeokuta, arrested the pastor of Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, for supposedly raping a 12-year old housemaid.

According to Vanguard, the Pastor, who was acting as an interpreter with the church, committed the crime in his home at 6, Shamusideen, Oke-Sokori area of the town, while his wife was said to have been away. After the show of shame, the girl reported the incident to her parents, hence his arrest. The Pastor claimed the girl was a willing participant and he was surprised at the amount of experience the young girl displayed in bedmatics..."When I told her I was tired...she said God will provide you natural Viagra; please come and finish your job. Chineke, I have never seen anything like this. I am simply a victim here. Lord have Mercy on men." he concluded.

P.M.NEWS had a headline, “Pastor Rapes fellow Pastor’s Wife Inside Church”. There are other headlines like, “Devilish Monster Pastor Pours Anointing (lubricating??) Oil On 16 Year old Girl’s Private Part and rapes her in the process claiming To “Cleanse Her From Evil Spirits and providing her divine unction and  most importantly SEXUAL HEALING”.

“Pastor Atunde of Light of Hope Orphanage Ogun State, accused of raping minors at orphanage,” (Punch).

“Raping of under aged, and Sodomy with under aged children. The story of "Men of God" in Nigeria, Bishop Chibuike Nwabueze, Chairman of the Communion of Bishops in Rivers State, confesses to raping 15 year old girl,” (Vanguard). Wife surprises Pastor Husband, in Abeokuta frolicking stark naked with her kid sister on their marital bed...Quizzed on such immoral behavior, the uncompromising Pastor says "What did you want me to do? This girl has been bothering me with her mini-skirts since she was small. By the way, I think Our wealth should stay within the family".

“General Overseer of the Jesus Army of Salvation Ministry Imo: Pastor Chukwunonso Okudiover Arrested for allegedly Raping 14-year-old boy”; “Prominent Lagos based Pastor, 42, charged with raping 12-year-old girl”, Pastor Emmauel Mathew, 50, docked for allegedly raping three primary school pupils in Abuja.” (Premium Times).
“General Overseer of Mountain Movers Fire Ministries International Abuja: Pastor Princewill of Benin City, accused of raping 14-year-old has now been granted bail”; “Christ Apostolic Church Pastor of Owerri, Ilesanmi Emmauel, remanded for alleged Rape of several church members.” (Premium Times).

“Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, pastor, nabbed over alleged rape of 12-yr-old housemaid”; “Deeper Life Bible Church Pastor, Eze Fidelis, confesses to defiling small girls”; “Police parade gay Pastor, Philips Ogbeborfor, Pastor Sunday Okoro of Money Talks Prosperity Ministries accused of very strange sexual improprieties and practices on more than 50 women and rape of a 12 year old daughter of one of his members. ”(Vanguard). ...Posted by Vincent Chinedu
