We had to attest all the documents
I myself have done it as a faculty in charge.
If you refuse...you have students badmouthing and if you do did without originals you take on risk..
I am happy its over...unnecessary...paper work is gone from tables.
Let them shoulder there own responsibility.

It is a big relief not only to students but also for people who are authorised to attest documents.
I used to get unknown visitors to my house at odd times seeking attestation of documents. Most do not bring the originals for verification. I had been mistaken/insulted many times by visitors whose documents could not be attested for want of originals.
