As you may know, the Maryland Department of Transportation's Office of Minority Business Enterprise (OMBE) is the State's official certification agency for the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) programs, and now the newly introduced, race-and-gender neutral, Small Business Enterprise (SBE) program.
Established in February 2014, Maryland's SBE Program is a race-and-gender neutral program providing opportunities for small businesses to be a prime contractor on federally funded contracts with the State Highway Administration (SHA), Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) and Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA).
The OMBE is hosting SBE Program Outreach and Application Assistance Events on December 10, 12, 17 and 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Click here to register via EventBrite and feel free to distribute this SBE flyer to your network.
