Solution Architect
Dallas TX.
This position is responsible for the techno functional analysis/architecture of eBiz (Service aspects) development and delivery; serve as end-to-end experts (functional and technical) in respective feature areas . Work with the business stakeholders in understanding the business requirements and translating them to functional and system specifications. Once system specifications are completed, work with PMO, Development, Testing and Release management to ensure requirements are developed and released as specified. This position will report under Sr. Technical Director of IT
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders on feature definition in alignment with technology roadmap.
- Act as a catalyst in feature prioritization and release planning.
- Work with enterprise architects and technical architects and define scalable solution.
- Create application interface agreement design with impacted back and front end systems.
- Create application high level design including technical framework mapping.
- Assist development leads and developers with feature and solution clarification.
- Assist test planners with test case creation.
- Focus on continuous improvement of delivery processes.
- Data Mapping of web pages to back end APIs
Desired Qualifications
- Strong eBill domain knowledge.
- Minimum 6 years of architecting large scale web applications using JEE architecture
- 4 years of hands on coding experience using Java and related technologies.
- Comprehension of web frameworks/layers: SOA, OSGI and Spring MVC.
- Experience creating interface agreements and high level application design.
- Strong knowledge of modeling tools (Visio/Enterprise/Architect/other equivalent tools), web services – REST/equivalent protocols, XML, XSD.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field. Master's degree in Engineering/Management is a plus.
