REQUIREMENT DETAILS:

 

Position: Linux Systems Engineer

Location: Allentown, PA

Duration: 1 year to start with extensions after

The client will hire off the phone / Skype interview if the candidate is a very strong match and communicator

Rate: $45/hour

 

The right candidate must  have current experience with HP Blades Servers and ideally Cisco UCS also. 

Job Description:

This is a long term consulting opportunity with our direct client in Allentown, PA for a Linux Systems Engineer. 

Technical Qualifications: 

1.    Technical knowledge and experience with Primarily w/ Red Hat Linux (5.x, 6.x) and/or HP-UX 11.x OS environment

2.    Experience with VMWare ESX 5.0 and 5.1 clustered Environments including HA and DR experience

3.    Current experience working HP blade enclosures and Cisco UCS blades and rackmounts using boot from SAN technology

4.    Experience using Red Hat's Satellite and Centrify

5.    Good understanding of SAN technologies, preferably with IBM (IBM SVC, IBM XiV, IBM Storewize V7000)
