Linux Systems Engineer – this long term (1 year to start with extensions after.)  The right candidate will have current experience with HP Blades Chassis and ideally Cisco UCS also – the full job description is below. 

 

 

Job Description:

This is a long term consulting opportunity with our direct client in Allentown, PA for a Linux Systems Engineer. 

Technical Qualifications: 

Technical knowledge and experience with Primarily w/ Red Hat Linux (5.x, 6.x) and/or HP-UX 11.x OS environment

Experience with VMWare ESX 5.0 and 5.1 clustered Environments including HA and DR experience

Current experience working HP blade enclosures and Cisco UCS blades and rackmounts using boot from SAN technology

Experience using Red Hat's Satellite and Centrify

Good understanding of SAN technologies, preferably with IBM (IBM SVC, IBM XiV, IBM Storewize V7000)
