REQUIREMENT DETAILS:
Position: UI Developer
Location: San Francisco, CA
Contract: 12 months, can extend to 18 months
Rate: $50/hr
Local candidates are highly preferred, they would like to meet the candidates in-person ideally before making an offer.
Strong JavaScript required – also, candidate must have worked in a J2EE environment to understand complex testing process, etc.
Job Duties:
· Development and implementation of highly complex, large-scale internet and intranet applications on diverse platforms, crossing multiple business lines in Digital Channels.
· Evaluates systems specifications for client area web site requirements and determines and implements the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution.
· Provides leadership in researching and tracking new web technologies, developing service applications, and analyzing business requirements as they pertain to web-based systems.
· Oversees system quality assurance and consistency with installation and security policy and standards.
· Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff.
Requirements:
· Experience developing with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and general Web 2.0 techniques.
· Experience developing AJAX interfaces with AJAX libraries and frameworks such as YUI, Dojo, JQuery, Jquery Mobile.
· Experience building single page apps using client side MVC frameworks like backbone angularJS.
· Knowledge of usability principles, cross-browser compatibility, ensuring web security (XSRF, cross-site scripting), accessibility best practices and HTML document architecture.
· Experience in a J2EE environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Over 5 years of experience developing web applications.
· Experience with Mobile apps with is a bonus.
· Passion for creating efficient, scalable, highly usable web interfaces.
