Position: Project Manager(Product Management)
Location is – Boston, MA
Duration – 6 Months
Below is the JD for your reference :
BA - Project Manager with product management experience – Mid senior level
Capital Markets /Investment Banking industry expertise with a background in Trade processing, transaction management, Cash, fund accounting and custody .
Planning -
· Develop high-level project plans
· Planning, directing and coordinating projects from initiation through to implementation
· Preparing project charter – including cost, task deliverable and schedule
· Identify deliverables and create work breakdown structure along with dependencies
· Estimate the cost and resource requirements
Execution
· Manage project costs, resources, change requests, risk and issues to ensure maximum business
· Identify and track key project milestones
· Monitor and communicate the progress of project delivery
· Work with cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate resourcing levels are engaged and maintained
· Anticipate project risks and issues and ensures mitigation
· Manage change control procedures
· Facilitate Post Implementation Review
· Conduct regular project meetings and managing stakeholders
· Perform Project closure activities
Product Planning and Demand Management
· Market analysis of current competitor landscape (pricing, time to market, strengths/weaknesses) for our external sell model – potentially not deferrable funding eligible
· Opportunity generation and tracking for the product across various divisions of the bank – regulatory driven, new product classes or client segments
· Business case development (justification, savings, revenue and cost) of new client, regulatory, market or client segment opportunities
· Product portfolio tracking of aggregated project duration and cost metrics across various demand workstreams and lifecycle stages within the product service model
· SDA allocation pricing model analysis for a flat charge across divisions of company for funding of Architecture/Strategy development benefiting all work-streams
· Oversight of all aspects of the service model lifecycle to escalate resource bottlenecks, strategic alignment considerations or cross platform/division coordination assistance
· Participation and overall tracking/coordination with standing up the internal and external product operating/service model across lifecycle
· Artifact document templates alignment across various work-streams (procedures and work flow diagrams) for entire product service model
· Communication of strategic direction of product and core component build out of product Architecture strategy through monthly steering committee and individual regional group discussions
· Develop and participate in product strategy meetings
· Maintain and track project and product implementation costs and schedule
