Role: Performance Engineer

Duration: 6+ month

Location: Union, NJ (Need local to NJ or NY)

Must-haves

-8+ yrs of experience in performance testing, analysis and capacity 

-8+ yrs of experience with performance analysis tools and benchmarking 

-8+ yrs of experience with performane tools such as (Hp loadrunner, interscope, wily, LISA)

-Experience working in a Unix/Linux environment 

-Experience doing performance testing in an agile environment 

-Understanding of REST web services

-Practical Experience in dealing with concepts;operating systems, CPU/Memory Architecture, threads, exceptions

-Experience doing mobile performance testing with perfecto or neoload

Day-to-Day

Design detailed performance test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures of software and production data in a secure environment. Design and run and extensive overhead, scalability , stability, and stress tests using industry standard performance tools. Develop and review test plans and result analysis and capactity planning guides. Collaborate with developers/architects on applications or system impact. Attend agile project meetings and give updates on capacity findings to stakeholders. Develop robust benchmark workloads based on production traffic patters and anticipate feature usage with various load levels and working sets.
