In 1962, under the pretext that it was fighting terrorism, the Camerounese State created the 1962 Ordinance on Terrorism. This law, in brief, stated that it was a criminal offense to criticism the government or laugh when the government was in trouble. The law created institutions like BMM and CENER to enforce it. Many were tortured and disappeared by CENER and the BMM. That law has not even been abolished. It was simply shifted into the Penal Code. Now, only last week, the same Terror State has caused its National Assembly to pass a New Law which even criminalizes this discussion we are having under the pretext that we could be involved in a rebellion, a revolution and terrorism! If it was urgent to actualize the independence of the Southern Cameroons yesterday, it is now a matter of urgency today. Who would want to live in a a Police Terror state?

Poor Southern Cameroonians caught in a trap they would have escaped from. If we do not come together and act fast then we shall all drive to hell with the vampire. Is this not the same francophone cameroun law of 1960 which led to the UPC uprising? Was this not the same law that brought about the so called makizars, was this not the same law that made many francophone camerounians running into the Southern Cameroons for shelter? Now history is facing us face to face, the same evil law is facing us. We have no place to run to, but God has never been blind. There is only one thing for us to do, we got to revive our independence full stop.
