Friends, we have all manifested this tremendous outpouring of grief at the passing of Anne Nkwain Nsang yet the issue is not death. We all know that we shall die. Ec 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. The issue is, or it ought to be, what next. Listen, people have asked me why I preach the Word of God and why I have gone from journalism to a full Christ-ian minister. A main reason is to save as many souls as I possibly can. 1Jo 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. There is something I now know that I did not know before - there is a thing called eternal life. And there is a thing called eternal death. Eternal death is when you die, separated from God, the source of all life. Eternal life is when you are reconnected to the Lord God, right here, right now. Through your belief and the confession of your belief. It is that simple. Nothing, I repeat nothing, will connect you to God if you die out of Christ. To have eternal life is the easiest thing in the world. Read Romans 10;8-13 ALOUD! And to be separated from God is also very easy. Do you desire eternal life? Anne had been ailing for some time of cancer. This is so sad and so soon. So soon after the demise of her father. So soon because she's gone too soon. What is the difference between a living soul and a spirit, a quickening spirit?
Friend, the mind is the gateway to the SOUL.
Your mind or your soul has three parts.
1.     Conscious
2.    Sub-conscious
3.    Super-conscious
a)    Conscious.
The conscious part of your soul is the now and the tomorrow of your soul/mind. It is your contemplation (what you are actually seeing) and the imagination (what you are seeing in the eye of your mind/soul. Your imagination is your vision or your tomorrow. If you cannot imagine things (if you have no vision)  then you might as well be dead.
Pr 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Be very careful, you may fulfill the above divine/natural law and die the day your head is clear; no vision and absolutely nothing to do. You may perish because you have zero vision!
b)    Sub-conscious.
The sub-conscious part of your mind, or your soul, is your memory. Your memory is like unto a computer hard drive. It stores things and everything is undeletable. The amazing thing about your memory is that has things therein not stored by your but items stored by your grandparents since Adam!  We often say: like father like son. What we do not perceive is that we are also like mother like son or daughter. And, by inference, we are like unto the parents of our parents and their parents before them.
Patterns of the Bloodline is another sermon in itself.
But see how the thing operates.
The sub-conscious of your soul/mind is your memory.
I was saying that if your memory is of and from your yesterday then your yesterday stretches right back to Abraham and Adam. This means that there are sins, iniquities and transgressions in you that you know nothing about. And these things condition your attitude, your aptitude and your your altitude in the exalting journey of rediscovering and reconnecting to the God. They are called Ancient Altars.
And until you are un-programmed and deprogrammed from these ancient altars you will not go very far in your Christ-ian life and operate in the fullness of divinity in humanity.
See the example. How the sub-conscious always surges forward to affect the conscious if not dealt with.

Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
Like Father like Son, right?
Adam made a son in his own – Adam's -   likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth
Ge 5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
Note that the Bible does not say Cain was made in the image and likeness of God or Adam so that should tell you who beguiled Eve and how it was done and who the Father of Cain was.  That should tell you where the SPIRIT OF MURDER that was in Cain came from.
2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Be that as it may, traits there are in our subconscious, transferred from generation to generation, from father to son.  Science says genetic but these things are more subtle. Spiritual things cannot be deciphered through genomes.
See why.
Abraham loved fair-white women and he lied because of a fair-white woman. In opposition to the brown Aramaic women of his time. His son, Isaac loved fair-white women and he told the same lie because of a fair woman long after Abraham was dead. By the third generation, Jacob was not a mere liar. He was a CROOK.
A  419-er, par excellence.
The reason is Scriptural.
Exodus 20:5…visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
Patterns of the bloodline means that we could be victims of sins, iniquities and transgressions bequeathed unto you by your blood line.
But be then sins, iniquities or transgressions, Christ delivered us from all of them and their curses.
Ga 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Hence we cannot be condemned for anything whatsoever if we are in Christ.
Ro 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
The believer is declared the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, yes. But the above is about the salvation of our spirit.  We must, per force, allow the POWER of God now indwelling us or the Christ in us to help us renew our SOUL (or our mind) even as we work out our daily salvation with fear and trembling.
Romans 12: 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
The Bible exhorts us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. This other salvation is the salvation of our soul. This part is easy for the believer because then, God works in you, as you, for us and you.
Philippians 2 verse 12 and 13 is another misconstrued segment of the bible. Fire and brimstone preachers come forth and terrorize believers to work out their salvation. The dwell on verse 12 and, demonically, forget verse 13.
Php 2' 12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
God is too holy to live with sin, iniquities and transgressions in our sub-conscious because then these things will cause us to rise and fall in our journey towards perfection.
Reason why they have to be confronted and dealt with.
The attain the maximum load of your divinity or spirituality in spite of and despite your humanity you must, per force, let go the carnal (walk not after the flesh) for the spiritual to lead.
It is a faith walk/work.
c)    Super-conscious or the Human Spirit.
The human spirit is the remnant of divinity still present in humanity in spite of sin. The human spirit is the deactivated or the dead or the sinful 'memory' of God in man.
You see, the Lord God, did not abandon his fallen child because of his caring and loving nature. One second after the man sinned, Papa God killed an animal and made clothe4s for his fallen child even before he shoved him out of Eden. In addition he still empowered those he licked to do super-natural deeds.
The Old Testament is replete with examples of the Angel of the Lord or the Spirit of the Lord either visiting with the fallen children of God or coming upon them mightily to enable them do great deeds.
1.     Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother.
  Jg 3:10 And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he judged Israel, and went out to war: and the LORD delivered Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed against Chushanrishathaim.
2.    Gideon.
 Jg 6:34 But the Spirit of the LORD came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet; and Abiezer was gathered after him.
3.    Jephthah
Jg 11:29 Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jephthah, and he passed over Gilead, and Manasseh, and passed over Mizpeh of Gilead, and from Mizpeh of Gilead he passed over unto the children of Ammon.
4.    Samson
 Jg 14:19 And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father's house.
5.    David
 1Sa 16:13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.
6.    Hagar
Ge 16:7 And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur. Ge 16:9 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.
7.     Abraham
Ge 22:11 And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.
8.    Moses
Ex 3:2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
9.    Balaam
Nu 22:22 And God's anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the LORD stood in the way for an adversary against him. Now he was riding upon his ass, and his two servants were with him. Nu 22:23 And the ass saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and the ass turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the ass, to turn her into the way.
10. Manoah
Jg 13:3 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son.  Jg 13:13 And the angel of the LORD said unto Manoah, Of all that I said unto the woman let her beware. Jg 13:15 And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, I pray thee, let us detain thee, until we shall have made ready a kid for thee. Jg 13:16 And the angel of the LORD said unto Manoah, Though thou detain me, I will not eat of thy bread: and if thou wilt offer a burnt offering, thou must offer it unto the LORD. For Manoah knew not that he was an angel of the LORD.

You see, the Spirit of God INDWELLED Adam.
God duplicated himself and was in residence in Adam.
God was tabernacle in Adam.
This was the spirit that gave Adam sublime and divine understanding.
So much so that he operated at the level of God.
The Lord God gave Job deep spiritual insight to see this.
Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
But that spirit left when the man sinned.
But, O Glory, your human spirit can be eventuated, blown awake, activated, rekindled, made alive and QUICKENED, once you receive the LIFE of God that is freely given you in Christ Jesus!
1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
The human spirit is limited, very limited. It is the spirit of the natural man par excellence.
It can neither receive the things of God neither can it know them.
1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Col 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Php 2:5  Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
1Co 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
