DUTIES
The Senior Application Developer Consultant shall complete the following duties:
Create and provide a migration plan.
Provide a scalable infrastructure recommendation that allows better control over server resources in SharePoint 2013 environment to be able to handle future content grow when more county departments subscript the service.
Set up a SharePoint 2013 farm.
Setup and configure the Office Web Application server, Workflow server, Search server, and App store server.
Implement signal sign on authentication cross multiple domains from multiple County departments.
Migrate contents, security permissions, custom solutions, features, workflows, and web parts from SharePoint 2010 environment to SharePoint 2013 environment.
Test, troubleshoot, and fix any issues after the migration which include debug and deploy custom solutions, adopt new look and feel changes, and UI experiences.
Enhance business solutions using SharePoint 2013 features such as integrated search, rich media, social computing, and performance monitoring to manage taxonomy, content type, document, technical resources and projects.
Train development team on the new features and controls in SharePoint 2013 development tools such as SharePoint designer 2013 and Visual Studio 2013.
Requirements
The Consultant must meet all of the following minimum qualifications:
Must have completed two (2) or more migration projects in which the SharePoint 2013 environment was migrated from a previous version of SharePoint within the last four (4) years.
Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years installing, troubleshooting and resolving problems with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 servers or above.
Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years developing, troubleshooting and resolving problems in SharePoint projects using Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2010 or above and Visual Studio 2010 or above.
Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years creating queries and reports using Microsoft SQL server reporting tool.
References might be requested if called for interview. Partial months of experience will not be accepted as a full year.
