MUST HAVE TRADING DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

 

What the environment: Pure Agile, Extreme Programming with monthly release cycles. This is a fast paced, energetic and important piece of  business.  The group / environment are very functional and collaborative.  The Fidelity Fixed Income Mutual Fund assets under management have grown significantly over the past few years, and continue to grow.  This is a unique opportunity to be front and center to prepare our Fixed Income systems to enable full global investing!

Job Description:

·         can do performance testing

·         is accustomed to doing automation using QTP and has used Fitness for acceptance testing

·         can run and execute the tests using LoadRunner and make sure things are working

·         has some experience doing manual testing

·         has a basic understanding of how soap services work and can read/write Java and C# at a lower level

·         has experience with functional testing

·         knows how trades are executed and routed. It would ideal if they have FIX experience as they use FIX messages for routing from Bloomberg – their trading platform. So they should have some basic domain knowledge surrounding this. The candidate could even be out of a boutique trading shop as this is a smaller group and they are not dealing with a large amount of traffic.
